Norton Air Force Base Museum celebrates Second Anniversary

A family looks at memorabilia that commemorates the old Air Force base's and museum's namesake, Leland Francis Norton, during a celebration on March 21.  Captain Norton's A-20 Havoc was struck by antiaircraft fire on May 27, 1944 near Amiens, France. He was 23 years old.
