To help Rialto residents and business owners better understand the current water restrictions in place, the Mayor and City Council are hosting a community forum next week.
Set for July 30 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the city’s Council Chambers, 150 S Palm Avenue, the forum will focus on issues regarding new compliance measure that recently went into effect, what the city is doing to meet conservation standards, and offer information on conservancy methods available for water customers, according to a news release.
Representatives from water agencies will be on hand to discuss the city’s water use regulation schedule and will provide information on conservation and rebate programs available. Currently, Rialto water customers are required under Rialto ordinance to reduce water consumption by 25 percent.
The aim is to help residents have all the necessary information to set water reduction goals that will help the city meet conservation standards, the release said. For information regarding the upcoming forum, call 909-421-4991.
