SYNOPSIS OF INCIDENT:
On March 18, 2016, a burglary occurred at 2700 block of N. Davidson Ave. in San Bernardino where no suspect information was received. On May 19, 2016, law enforcement became aware that the items were being sold on a website known as OfferUp.
Officers made an arrangement disguised as a buyer to meet the seller in front of several apartment complexes in the 2900 block of Mira Monte Dr. in San Bernardino. Undercover officers set up in the area where the sale was supposed to occur in order to identify the location of the buyer’s apartment. When the buyer came outside to sell the watches, he was detained by officers. Three stolen watches were recovered from the apartment of Nathaniel Browning and were positively identified by the victim. Bree Washington was also detained and multiple additional stolen items were recovered from within the apartment after a search warrant was detained. Browning and Washington were both arrested.
