Rialto City Council welcomes new, returning members at swearing in ceremony

Newly elected Rialto council members officially took seat Tuesday evening after a swearing-in ceremony inside council chambers.

As Rialto Mayor Deborah Robertson was reelected for another term, she joins Mayor Pro Tem Joe Baca Jr. and councilmember Ed Scott. Councilmen elect Andy Carrizales and Rafael Trujillo round out council.

Rialto City Clerk incumbent Barbara McGee and City Treasurer incumbent Edward Carrillo were also sworn in.

The community was invited to a meet and greet at Rialto Library prior to the ceremony and council meeting.

Rialto City Council meets on the second and fourth Tuesday of every month. Meetings are held in the Civic Center Council Chambers at 150 S. Palm Avenue.
