Midge Zupanic recognized as Rialto BPW Woman of Achievement
1 min readRialto’s Business and Professional Women’s annual Holiday Tea Nov. 13 brought out dozens to help the group raise scholarship funds and celebrate women entrepreneurship in the community.
Held at the Rialto Senior Center, the event featured several vendors including local women-owned and operated businesses such as Eddie P’s.
Recognized this year as Rialto’s BPW Women of Achievement was Midge Zupanic.
Zupanic, an active community member and volunteer was honored for her countless volunteer hours and involvement with the fire department.
“She’s always in some form involved in the community,” said Rialto BPW president Soledad Moredan.
“She’s a tireless worker and she doesn’t expect to be thanked, but we wanted to thank her for all she’s done.”
Zupanic was humbled by the recognition.
“I’m excited and it’s a bit overwhelming,” she said. “But most of all I’m thrilled of the support women are providing each other to push forward.”
