CSUSB police searching campus for carjacking and kidnapping suspect

Cal State San Bernardino Police are on the lookout for a carjacking and kidnapping suspect.
According to the university’s Office of Strategic Communications, the suspect is an African-American male in his early 20’s and is wearing a gray shirt. He’s approximately 6 feet tall and weighs about 170 pounds.

The victim, who was not identified, was carjacked around 11 a.m, according to authorities. No weapons were used in the incident.

The victim is currently safe and in the vicinity of campus police. Campus police is currently searching University Village for the suspect. They are encouraging students to stay clear of the area or stay indoors.
