RUSD celebrates eighth grade promotions

Tigers roared, Falcons soared, Coyotes howled and Jaguars and Cougars pounced their way toward brighter futures as crowds reveled in eighth grade promotion ceremonies last week.

Rialto Unified School District’s five middle schools — Rialto, Frisbie, Kucera, Kolb, and Jehue — held ceremonies at Carter High. Jehue was among the school’s with the largest promoting class, with more than 580 eighth grade students, Kucera’s class included more than 430 students, Rialto promoted more than 425 students, Frisbie’s class moved on more than 390 students and Kolb promoted more than 350 students.
