Now to July 31 – the City of San Bernardino will have a Summer Meal Program for kids under 18 years of age from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. at the following Community Centers:

Exhibits, Workshops, Classes:
Now to October – the City of Redlands Recreation Services offers monthly CPR, AED (automated external defibrillator), & First Aid Classes at the Redlands Community Center, 111 W. Lugonia Ave. This eight-hour course combines all topics of CPR, AED and first aid and is designed for citizen-rescuers at work, home or in the community. The course includes a comprehensive workbook and a two-year certification card. This class is not for health professionals, and is offered monthly on the following dates: July 13, August 10, September 14, and October 5, 2019. Now to Wednesday, July 31 – the Garcia Center for the Arts, 536 West 11th Street, San Bernardino will hold a series of Ceramic Classes every Monday and Wednesday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. cost is $60 for the series or $20 per week. Mondays, July 15 to August 26 – the Yucaipa Chamber of Commerce and the City of Yucaipa present Movie Mondays at 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. at the Yucaipa Performing Arts Center , 12062 California Street. The schedule includes: July 15 – Logo Movie 2; July 22 – Smallfoot; July 29 – Shazam; August 5 – A Dog’s Way Home; August 12 – Wonder Park; August 19 – Christophe Robin; and August 26 – Missing Link. Friday, July 12 – the City of Rialto presents a Movies in the Park: Spider-Man into the Spider-Verse at Margaret Todd Park, 201 N. Willow beginning at 7:00 p.m. This free family friendly event features other activities. Attendees are urged to bring lawn chairs and blankets. Food and drink vendors will be available.
Friday, July 12 – the 2019 Redlands Bowl Summer Music Festival presents Mariachi Divas. This all-female two-time Grammy Award winning ensemble continues to push and expand the scope of Mariachi music. Divas are the official Mariachi of Disneyland. Performance begins at 8:00 p.m. at the Bowl, 25 Grant Street. This free event is first-come, first-seated. Free-will offerings will be collected at intermission. Saturday, July 13 – The City of Colton- Community Services Department presents the 132nd Colton Birthday Celebration from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Colton High School Football Field, 777 West Valley Blvd. This free event features live performances, games and fireworks. A Fun Zone is also available for $5 for unlimited play.
Saturday, July 13 – the Friends of the San Bernardino Library will host a Used Book Sale from 12 noon to 4:00 p.m. in the Friends Room in the rear of the Norman Feldheym Central Library, 555 W. 6th Street. Saturday, July 13 – the San Bernardino Public Library presents Little Mountain Big Band In Concert at 3:00 p.m. in the Bing Wong Auditorium of the Feldheym Central Library, 555 W. Sixth Street. This event is part of the Summer Reading Program theme “It’s Showtime at the Library.” The band is a 17-piece community group based in the city of San Bernardino and directed by Robert Winokur and will feature music popular music from the Beatles to Charles Mingus. Sunday, July 14 – the Inland Empire Cruise Nites presents the 12th Annual Christmas In July Motorcycle Run & Car Show from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Ronald McDonald House, 11365 Anderson Street, Loma Linda. This event is a Toy Drive for terminally ill children currently undergoing treatment at the Loma Linda Children’s Hospital and not expected to survive until December. A $10 toy donation is admission to the Car Show. Immediately following the Car Show the car club will cruise to the American Legion Post 155, 1402 Veterans Way, Colton for entertainment and vendors.
Monday, July 15 – the San Bernardino Public Library Villasenor Branch presents Annie Banannie in “Wacky Alien Talent Show” at :00 p.m. at the Villasenor Library, 525 N. Mt. Vernon. This free, all-ages Program features the mixing of comedy and storytelling with amazing ballon twisting. The finale is a special musical version of the Giant 6-Foot Ballon. Tuesday, July 16 – Options for All will hold its 3rd Annual San Bernardino Fundraising event: Hilarity for Charity from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the University of Redlands Casa Loma Hall, 1200 E. Colton Ave. The event features food stations, no host bar, opportunity its drawings, and a 45-minute comedy performance by Josh Blue. Friday, July 19 – the City of Colton– Community Services Department presents Movies in the Park: Incredibles 2 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Fleming Park, 525 N. La Cadena. This free family friendly events features entertainment, Street Fair, and fun zone followed by movie at dusk. Attendees are urged to bring blankets and lawn chairs. No alcohol or glass is permitted.
Saturday, July 20 – the Unforgettables Foundation presents its Annual Baseball Bash from 4:05 p.m. to 10:05 p.m. at the San Manuel Stadium, 280 S. E Street, San Bernardino. Ticket cost for this event, on Mike Trout Day, includes a summer time picnic, special field-side seat, and a Mike Trout Jersey for the first 50 people. Doors open at 4:05 p.m. with games starting at 6:05 p.m.
Saturday, July 20 – the San Bernardino City Unified School District’s African American Advisory Council will hold a Black Family Summit: Cradle to Career Back to School Kick-Off from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at San Gorgonio High School, 2299 Pacific Street. This event is part of the District’s Family Awareness Campaign with information about preschool programs, special programs, navigating the system for excellence, after-school resources, and parent leadership. This free summit includes workshops and resources plus special recognition for students who made Black Honor Roll for the second semester and Elementary Academic Excellence.
