Children’s Musical Theater workshops

Prepare yourself for a wonderful time under the sea as a talented team from Stars of Tomorrow Children’s Theater introduce young people to fundamentals of musical theater performance. Registration is now open for four free daylong children’s musical theater workshops June 20, July 25 and Aug. 1 with each workshop running from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Children and teens ages 6 to 17 will explore the fundamentals of drama, dance and singing.

Each participant will have a speaking part in a mini musical, with a performance beginning at 3 p.m. Children will be assigned different characters if registering for multiple workshops. A free lunch will be served to all participants alongside the Community Center’s free Children’s Summer Lunch Program.

Participants are asked to bring a water bottle, T-shirt, shorts and comfortable shoes (no flip-flops, as participants will be dancing).
